My New Travel Buddy: Headware

I've been traveling for almost a year now and within that period, I have been looking for accessories that would shield me from heat, dust and everything that is eecky and yucky. I considered of buying caps, scarfs and bonnets but that idea alone is expensive. PLUS, it will make my luggage bulkier.

But soon after, I discovered something that answered my traveling needs.

Pizzaccademia: The Newest Pizza House In Town!

Davao is indeed booming. A lot of business enterprises - malls, restaurants and others have sprouted like mushrooms. Well, this is good news for us Davaoeños since we are given more choices. Talking about convenience.

Several weeks ago I, together with some officers of Davao Bloggers, was invited to a newly-opened pizza house in Obrero near USEP and my alma mater, Stella Maris Academy of Davao. No wonder this new pizza house was aptly named Pizzaccademia.

DFAT Day 3: The Tale of Samal, Sanghon and Yoghurt

DFAT encourages all its participants to start the day early... and it was a big challenge for me since I'm a night owl - I work 'til sunrise and sleep 'til the afternoon. I took it as a challenge.

The third day of DFAT was even more exciting! We toured the beautiful island of Samal, ate an unusual 'pancit' named Sanghon and got drowned by yoghurt.

Oh, heaven!

Best of Travel Photos: My 7 Super Shots

I am not a professional photographer but I aspire to become one. I started shooting photos back in December 2009 when my mother gave me an early Christmas present - a Sony Cybershot DSC-S930 camera. But last year, I switched to DSLR cameras (Canon EOS 1000D and Canon EOS 1100D) after I used up all possible functions of a point-and-shoot camera.

At first glance, I thought that this tag thing is as easy as 1-2-3. But no, it was really stressful to browse my hard drive, which contained more than 50,000+ photos. Nonetheless, I still had a great time picking some of my best shots. I do hope you enjoy this post.

Thanks Cat for tagging me!

DFAT Day 2: Southern Food Trip

Day 2 of Davao Food Appreciation Tour.

0540 Eric's phone rang. It was Mica.

0610 Woke up and saw Mica at the other side of the room. Yahoo!

0700 Robbie was still asleep when all of the sudden Ate Ria called; they were already at the lobby. All of the sudden, Rob jumped from his bed, changed his clothes and was good to go. The funny thing was, he was the first one to sleep the night before and he was the LAST one to get up. Elle-oh-elle.

0830 We boarded the van after eating breakfast at McDo Matina. Next destination: Digos City, Davao del Sur.

Prologue: Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2012

It was around October of last year when I got a message from Kusina Maria. "Be part of Davao's sinful event. One slot has already been given to you. Good luck."

K. CHALLENGED ACCEPTED.

I have heard about DFAT a year ago and I never thought that I'd become one of the organizers of this event. And yes, it's not easy to become one. During the planning stage, we wanted it to become bigger and more 'fun'.

Touring Siquijor Island

Aside from the pristine white sand beach of Salagdoong and a comfy hideout at End of the World Guesthouse, Siquijor has a lot of places to offer for tourists.
