Saturday Air Traffic

Davao City
Sunset

It's good to be back here in Davao, thank God for Holy Week! Although, my vacation's shorter compared last December, I see to it that I'd make the most out of it. Thus I went shopping, catching up with my old friends, and touring the city (I was once again a complete stranger to my hometown, believe it or not). A lot had changed ever since I left the city two months ago. I'm seeing more and more buildings constructed along the major streets of the city, learned about the whereabouts of my long lost friends, and a whole lot more.

Part of my itinerary was to visit the control tower of Davao International Airport. These are some of my shots taken by my Canon EOS 1100D using a 55-250 f/4.0 lens. Gosh, I miss doing this. I miss my camera. Ahhh, those good ol' days.

Discovering the Spirit of Japan

Discover the Spirit of Japan. Photo credit

While unpacking my luggage last night, I finally saw my travel journal. I thought I'd lost it somewhere in Manila. The journal contained some of my travel plans, bucket lists, travelogue, and schedules. While browsing, I read my outdated bucket list entitled "things that I have to achieve before turning thirty something"

Number one on the list is to explore Japan.

Free Attractions In Rome

Rome's Coin Exchange - The Trevi Fountain
There’s no shame in getting something for nothing you know. In fact you’d be a fool not to check out these free attractions when taking advantage of cheap packages to Rome. You’ll be really glad you did.

For The Love Of Instagram (and other photo apps)

Follow me: @rmbulseco

It has been a year since I downloaded Instagram on my iPod Touch (which now belongs to my brother). There's so much hype about this app even up to this date. The interface is very simple: take a photo of anything that fancies you, apply a desired filter, then voila! You now have a "vintage-y grungy-ey looking-ey" photo. No need to post process photos on photoshop! Even the most mundane thing on earth, say a trash bin or a silly photo of you could turn into an extraordinary one with the help of the available filters.

Feels Like I Am A Kid Again: Pyro Musical

4th World Pyrolympics

I admit that I truly abhor the sound of explosion... you know, the BOOOM sound. Yeah, and I hate it whenever the sound waves hit my ears. It hurt a lot... and scares the hell out of me too! I don't blame myself for being like that. For twelve years, I have not seen a firecracker show or whatsoever due to the total firecracker ban in Davao. I have always wanted to see one for years. Talking about being deprived. Hi hi hi.

This year, I did not expect that I'd watch such magnificent lightkaboom show! It almost brought me to tears, like srsly.

Missin' My Hometown

It has been a long time...

I was born and raised in a city where beaches and mountains meet, where people enjoy the abundant supply of fruits, vegetables and the freshest catch from the sea, and where a myriad of culture, tribes and beliefs unite as one. I would never trade My hometown to any other cities. No matter what happens, my heart belongs to Davao City.
