Five Tips to Enjoy Summer 2013

School's out.

Sun's up for the whole day.

Weather's clear.

And everybody's craving for a wild adventure.

Summer has never been this fun, thanks to the geographical features of our country. We are blessed to have pristine beaches and lush mountains to enjoy. In this post, I am going to share five things on how to enjoy your summer break.

Tip #1 Too much sun will you...

The sun may be inviting for the first few hours but beyond 10AM, it might be the worst thing to exist on Earth. The sun can be potentially harmful to our skin from 10AM to 4PM. Prolonged exposure to the sun may lead to sunburn, or worse skin cancer. To protect your precious skin from the harmful rays of the sun, use sunscreen. Do not buy chipipay brands because it won't help you, I TELL YOU. Buy those trusted brands. Don't forget to check the expiry date of your sunscreen! Too much exposure to the sun can also cause wrinkles, pimples and blemishes. That's why, I always apply Proactiv Solution to achieve a pimple-free skin. It's one of the skin care products I use aside moisturizer and sunscreen. But wait, there's more! May money-back guarantee pa when you purchase a 30-day trial pack of Proactiv Solultion! That is sooo cool!

Tip #2 Thou shall not overpack.

Admit it. We all have this tendency to overpack. We all believe that it's better to overpack than to 'underpack', well if you know what I am saying. One can bring extra clothes, but please, do not bring your whole cabinet! It's unnecessary plus it's a big burden, literally. Carrying tons of bags is... ugh... hassle kaya!

Tip #3 Wear comfortable clothes and footwear.

Obviously, one does not wear Parka on the beach. One time, while I was in Boracay, I saw these two beautiful ladies, wearing their sexy swimsuits, but their footwear caught my attention. I was expecting to see them wearing flip-flops because (1) it's comfortable; and (2) DUH! They're walking on the beach!!! But then again, these two pretty and wise ladies wore stilettos. Yes, stilettos. AS IN CAPITAL S-T-I-L-E-T-T-O-S!!! Like, seriously? You don't do that to me, ladies.

Tip #4 Plan your trip.

Some people are spontaneous when it comes to adventure. But it is better to have an itinerary. It doesn't mean that you have to strictly adhere to what is written on the list. Your itinerary serves as your guide. It's better to have a guide than to just blindly follow your heart because science had already proven that the heart doesn't function as a human compass. It just pumps blood and delivers oxygen throughout the body via blood transport. Whatever.

Tip #5 Be kind to the locals.

Respect begets respect. You're just a visitor and they own the place. Don't be rude and be nice. It's not that hard to be nice, even just for a day or two.

I hope everyone's enjoying their summer break! Yahooooooooo!
