For an increasing number of people, the drudgery of a nine to five job is simply not fulfilling enough. If you are one of those people you may have considered a career that involves a bit more exploration of the world. Below are our five best jobs for those of you wanting to work all over the world.

#1 Teaching English

English is one of the most desirable languages in the world. So as an English speaker, you are a useful asset in non-English speaking countries. Your qualifications will affect how accessible English teaching jobs are to you but there are EFL providers who will give you the necessary training and find you a position in a different country on a temporary or permanent basis.

#2 Journalism

Whether you work freelance or for a specific publication, stories can potentially take you all over the world. Travel journalism is an obvious career choice, but you may want to consider world affairs and politics as well. If you have already completed a degree in journalism you may want to pursue a specialization that will show that you are best qualified for a life on the road.

If you love variety, then a flight attendant might be a great career choice you should consider. Imagine spending a couple of nights in countless cities all over the world at the company’s expense. An online master in political science would be a great qualification to obtain to get a position within the service. #5 Freelancer

The beauty of being a freelancer online is that you can literally do anything you set your heart on (provided there is a demand) in any country that you wish. Don't fall into the trap of being a 'jack of all trades' find your specialty and stick with it. Not only will you get yourself a reputation as an authority in your chosen field, you'll find that more opportunities will start to come your way.
