English is one of the most desirable languages in the world. So as an English speaker, you are a useful asset in non-English speaking countries. Whether you work freelance or for a specific publication, stories can potentially take you all over the world. The beauty of being a freelancer online is that you can literally do anything you set your heart on (provided there is a demand) in any country that you wish. Don't fall into the trap of being a 'jack of all trades' find your specialty and stick with it. Not only will you get yourself a reputation as an authority in your chosen field, you'll find that more opportunities will start to come your way.
