Interesting Vacation Ideas for Criminal Justice Students



What better way to break up the monotony of studying full-time than with a vacation in a far off land, where you can let all of your worries fade into the background. In reality, students don’t really need an excuse to travel, especially when they’re studying for their masters criminal justice degree. If your goal is to have an exciting vacation, first you have to be sure that you’ve chosen an interesting location to spend your time. There are museums abroad dedicated to criminal justice, as well as countries that have their unique ways of appointing peacekeepers and members of the armed services. While you really should spend most of your time relaxing while on vacation, learning a few new fun facts about your chosen course of study is always good too.

Puerto Rico

This island vacation spot has a very rich culture that visitors can explore. Although small, it would take the better part of a day to travel around the whole thing. The food in Puerto Rico is exceptional, and for a small amount of money you can have an entire feast laid out before you, surrounded by beautiful wildlife, including bats, tree frogs, and even monkeys. Tucked away deep inside of the island are rivers and streams, waterfalls and wading pools. This is a setting in which you can unwind for a few days and come back completely refreshed.

Thailand

Thailand may be a long plane ride away, but you will absolutely be happy that you took the trip as soon as you arrive. Visit the temples, eateries, the Grand Palace, beaches and more when you spend time vacationing in Thailand. There are national parks filled with elephants and rare animals that you’ve never before seen in real life. You may be able to relax a bit here, but you absolutely will never be bored.

Romania

There is a lot of history in Romania that an online masters in criminal justice student would want to learn more about. From the Dimitrie Gusti National Village Museum where you will learn how Romanian villagers live to Bran Castle, formerly home to ancient members of Romania’s monarchies, there is much to explore. In addition to Romania being rather cheap to vacation in, there are lush hilltops, friendly villages, markets and beaches for you to see and experience.

South Africa

South Africa is one of the most interesting places that a criminal justice student can travel to. Given South Africa’s recent tumultuous history in criminal justice, any student would benefit from discovering more. Airfare costs may be steep to South Africa, but every other aspect of your vacation will be more than reasonably priced.

Students of criminal justice many different choices when it comes to vacationing in an interesting setting. Each nation has a complex history that shaped the way that it’s criminal justice system operates today. Learning how a nation got to where it is now is important, but be sure to enjoy your vacation by letting yourself go and relaxing as if you never have to go home.
