Fancy February
The runway symbolizes that I am ready to fly. LOLJK this is just a totally unrelated photo. Was planning to make a collage of photos but naaahhh, to lazy to do it. |
Hola folks! How's everyone? Well, I've literally missed a lot of people today as much as I missed traveling! This post is not going to be travel related (more or less). More so, this blog is slowly transforming from travel to personal... uhh... wait! This is still a travel blog considering that I still tell stories about my recent ATC training adventures (excuses... excuses... ehem). But still you get my point, right?
February's half way done and surprisingly, it didn't suck!

Art Fair Philippines
Last weekend seemed ordinary to me. Because I didn't want to rot inside our house, I decided to tag along with my classmates. Destination: SM Megamall and St. Francis Square. Wrong move. Consider this case: Three girls, looking for a cool black leather shoes in the middle of tiyange filled with shoppers. Spell deeezzzaaazzzterrr. Thank god for mobile internet - it saved me from eternal damnation. LOLJK.
So by 3PM, I decided to drop by at Robbie's condo and poof, he invited me to visit Art Fair Philippines in Makati. I haven't been to an Art Fair before. I gave it a shot, hoping that my Sunday wouldn't be a junk.

Tips to Save on Small-Business Travel
From keeping track of expenses to taking advantage of hotel freebies, these tips can help you save money on business traveling.
The longer you wait to book your flight, the more expensive it will become. Understandably, some trips are last minute, but when you know in advance when you'll be taking a trip, plan accordingly. Businesspeople avoid winter months. Stay away from holiday weeks, such as Labor Day and President's Day.
Since airlines started charging for checked baggage, every passenger is allowed one carry-on and one additional bag for free, so when traveling (especially for a weekend trip) you can easily pack all the essentials and necessities into one bag. Trying to cram huge-sized carry-ons into tight overhead spaces will not help you when traveling for work so plan ahead.

Surreal Sunset in Manila
For those who have followed this blog for quite some time, you might notice that I always post sunset photos whenever I'm on a trip - be in Nueva Ecija or Boracay Island. Yesterday, I got a chance to witness a beautiful sunset, and this time in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.

Postcard: The Roof of the Philippines
It's been a year since the last time I visited Brgy. Kapatagan, Digos, Davao del Sur. This is the place where you can have a closer look to the highest peak of the country - Mount Apo. With a height of almost 10,000 ft., Mount Apo is the place where you can find various rare species of Waling-Waling (Vanda sp.), the mighty Philippine Eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi), and many more.
