Traveling Has Never Been This Fun!

I always thought that traveling is a serious thing - you get the chance to experience new culture, to meet new people, to know the history of a local place and to learn the local dialects and languages of a particular locale.

But, there are some moments during your travels that you can't afford to forget because those were just simply hilarious.

Still Can't Get Over with Flyover Ihaw-ihaw!

We finally reached the last stop of the second day of Sooo Pinoy Food Trip Davao - Flyover Ihaw-ihaw. Catchy name, isn't it?

The Davao Bloggers in partnership with City Tourism Operations Office and SMART Communications had their very first familiarization tour in Davao City. The tour was divided into four groups: Calinan Thrillseekers, Toril Trailblazers, Downtown Explorers and Uptown Adventurers.

Road Trip: Northern Mindanao

One of the requirements of becoming an Air Traffic Controller here in the Philippines is to take their qualifying exam; much like a college entrance exam. But unfortunately, Davao was not chosen as one of the exam venues. Cagayan de Oro was the nearest one. Thus, I had no choice but to travel all the way to the City of Golden Friendship together with my supportive parents.

BonChon Chicken: The Global Phenomenon is now in Davao!

Whenever I am in Manila, I always see to it that I'd eat at BonChon Chicken, one of my favorite fast food restaurants. You know, I've never been a fan of fast food restaurants but after trying BonChon's famous crispy chicken last January at SM Megamall, my perception about fast food had changed for good.

And today, I was really happy that the crispy chicken sensation expands outside Metro Manila as it opens its first franchised store here in Davao!

After attending an event at Marco Polo Hotel, Jesse, Ate Leah and I went back to the Sooo Pinoy Davao Food Trip event. Our next stop was the D' Leonor Hotel near Pryce Tower and we were going to try their famous Crispy Fried Chicken, Fiesta Lapu-Lapu and their creamy Leche Flan.

Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. One can survive without eating breakfast however he won't function well thus affecting his productivity.

And the best way to start the day is to have a breakfast buffet at Probinsya.

What A Journey It Has Been

Wow, I can't believe that my travel blog has turned one [year old] a few weeks ago! I did not even notice it due to my busy schedule (excuses, excuses LOL). Well, I am very grateful that in a span of a year, my travel blog had gained PR, traffic and of course, new friends.

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.

You might be wondering why I don't have a TTN's birthday bash giveaway on my blog. Truth is, I have no plans to have one at all; I surmise that it's too early or due to lack of sponsors, so to speak. Maybe I'll give one in two or three years from now (ehem, calling all potential sponsors out there... kidding!).

Let us travel back in time as I tell you a story about the humble beginnings of my travel blog and how I managed to sustain it.
