Welcome to Davao, Uniqlo!

The long wait is over. My favorite apparel store is here in Davao! Uniqlo Philippines finally opens its first store here in Mindanao! In line with their 5th anniversary here in the Philippines, Uniqlo opens more branches in Mindanao - 2 in Davao (SM Lanang Premier and SM City Davao), and 1 in Cagayan de Oro City (SM CDO Downtown Premier). Uniqlo is one of my travel essentials. When I went to Korea last winter, Uniqlo saved my life from the harsh Korean winter.

Anyway, come and visit Uniqlo at SM Lanang Premier this Friday (May 26) and get the chance to win awesome prizes! The first 50 customers will not just receive gifts from Uniqlo, but they'll also shop with Ms. Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2015.

A sweet escape.

I was awake for more than 24 hours. After devouring hot wings at Gibbs', we went straight to LIV Superclub and partied way too hard because duh, we only live once. At almost five in the morning, we went back to our hotel, and slept right away without bothering changing my clothes. I was reeking nicotine and alcohol that time, eww.

For our next stop in #CebuFoodCrawl, we went to The Chocolate Chamber in Mabolo, Cebu City for some sweet affair. It was an antithesis of last night's activities.

And the Sooo Pinoy Davao Food Trip continues. For merienda, the team went to Ecoland to try out this local restaurant aptly named Pansititoy. From the restaurant's name itself, they serve different kinds of noodles and as well as Batchoy and the all-time favorite of Pinoys, Crispy Pata.

BonChon Chicken: The Global Phenomenon is now in Davao!

Whenever I am in Manila, I always see to it that I'd eat at BonChon Chicken, one of my favorite fast food restaurants. You know, I've never been a fan of fast food restaurants but after trying BonChon's famous crispy chicken last January at SM Megamall, my perception about fast food had changed for good.

And today, I was really happy that the crispy chicken sensation expands outside Metro Manila as it opens its first franchised store here in Davao!

Hey Boss! Barbeque?

If you are a keen observer, you will notice that there are LOTS of chicken and pork barbeque restaurants here in Davao City. It's pretty obvious that Davaoeños really love to eat those grilled goods. Sa walay pag duha-duha!

And for the last destination of the first day of Sooo Pinoy Food Trip Davao, we invaded the Damosa-Lanang branch of Barbeque Boss.
