PAL Mid-Year Sale this 2020!

PAL at NAIA 2

I won't deny that I miss traveling. When everything's back to normal, I know everyone's itching to fly again. Well, I have some good news for you! Philippine Airlines is launching a mid-year sale promo in the coming days. Travelers can surely enjoy the safe skies and safe travels with the Heart of the Filipino.

The mid-year sale will start at midnight on July 13, 2020, and will run until July 19. Domestic base fares will start at P388. PAL has one of the most extensive domestic networks, and today is the best time to book tickets to visit your loved ones, or if leisure travels are finally allowed, this is the best time to support domestic tourism. You can book international travels as well. The base fare for international destinations starts at $99. Whether you are going on essential business travels or planning for that long overdue vacation, consider this as a reward for yourself! You don't need to break a bank just to fly to your favorite destinations. The seat sale includes flights from August 1, 2020, until May 31, 2021.

Safety is Paramount

The safety of the passengers is PAL's priority. To ensure everyone's safety, PAL is strictly implementing an all-out 'Fly Safe' set of new normal safety measures and practices. Dubbed as "New Normal, Same Heart", the new safety procedures adopt international health and safety protocols while keeping the signature heartfelt service that the airline is known for.

Passengers are also encouraged to check-in online and allot extra time at the airport. Additional security and health procedures are put into place, so it is best to arrive at the airport earlier than usual. Passengers are also required to wear face masks all the time–at the airport and throughout the flight–and observe social distancing whenever queueing in line or seated at the pre-departure area of the airport terminal.

PAL is also requiring cabin crew to wear a full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while servicing the flight. They are one of the first airlines in the world to implement this safety measure. Their crew has also undergone rigorous medical evaluation before their duty. In-flight meals and snack service now use a sealed packaging. More so, PAL also offers Onboard Distancing Seat Options for Business and Premium Economy passengers. A designated zone of the Economy Class cabin will also be provided for passengers who wish to be extra safe when they fly.

All of PAL's fleet are equipped with advanced cabin air systems that continuously infuse fresh air across the cabin. The cabin air is replaced every 2 to 3 minutes through a High-Efficiency Particulate Air Filters (HEPA Filters) that removes viruses, bacteria, and other contaminants with 99.99% efficiency. This ensures a controlled and cleaner environment comparable to hospital operating rooms that are safer than most enclosed public spaces.

The Heart of the Filipino

As Philippine Airlines has partially resumed regular commercial flights to various domestic destinations and key international cities, PAL also continues to operate special missions to repatriate stranded Filipinos and foreign nationals to and from different parts of the world, as well as all-cargo services to transport essential supplies across the Philippines and overseas.
