Walking Around Legazpi Village, Makati City

It's been a while since the last time I stroll around Legazpi Village here in Makati CBD. Ever since the lockdown last March 15, I'm always at the condo because obviously, I don't want to get infected by COVID-19. More so, it was during that time when the national government imposed the strictest community quarantine. Basically, I was just confined to the four corners of the unit, except when I go to work. It was only this month when I decided to walk around Legazpi Village. I really love this neighborhood.

Before the global pandemic, this place is filled with people and traffic can be terrible at times especially during rush hours. It is surrounded by posh residential towers, office buildings, banks, and a huge array of cafés and restaurants. Actually, going around for a food trip is always a great idea. Since the quarantine measures relaxed, most of the local cafés, restaurants, and the famous Sunday Market have reopened albeit with social distancing and mandatory wearing of face masks and face shields.

Today, I walked around and gave me peace of mind. As dusk settled, I decided to stop by Antipodean Café at Paseo de Roxas and ordered my favorite flat white. Since I got hungry from all the walking I did, I ordered their Open Bacon Lettuce Tomato on Sourdough.

Me time well spent!
