Lachi’s: Home of Davao’s Finest Sans Rival

Food junkies and first-time visitors of Davao City should not miss Lachi’s, the home of the world’s most delicious and finest desserts. Ever since its inception along Ruby St. of Marfori Heights, I have always wanted to try their desserts. I always hear good stuff from Lachi’s!

This year, I had the chance to dine at Lachi’s. Indeed, it answered my gastronomic needs.

Owned by twins Mike and Melvin Aviles, Lachi’s started as a dessert restaurant but later added main dishes like Marinara Pasta, Baby Back Ribs, Laing, Tofu with Teriyaki Sauce and Breaded Fried Chicken to cater the greater needs of their customers.

After finishing our sumptuous meals, we then tried some of Lachi’s best desserts: Blueberry-Raspberry Cheesecake, Crème Brulee, Sans Rival, Dark Chocolate Cake and the Symphony Cake.

Surprisingly, these desserts were not that too sweet. It just tasted perfectly.

If you don’t like eating durian because of its awful smell you should Lachi’s Durian Sans Rival and Durian Cheesecake. You won’t smell its stench; you can only taste its heavenly sweetness. Don’t worry, they didn’t use artificial durian flavoring thus you can still brag to your friends that you have eaten lots of Durian during your stay here in Davao (LOL)!

Of course, you can really see in our faces that we were indeed full and happy!

Lachi’s is located at Ruby Street at Marfori Heights, Davao City. It is open to serve you daily (except Sundays) from 11 AM to 8 PM.
