Sencha Milk Tea Place

Whenever I'm in Chowking, I'd always order Nai Cha, their milk tea. I don't know but I really love the blend of milk and tea and I'm the only one in the family who has a penchant for it! Over the years, Chowking has been my one and only source of milk tea. There were no milk tea places in Davao until two (or three) years ago.

Just this month, another milk tea place opened its doors to the public. Of course, I didn't have any second thoughts of trying Davao's newest milk tea place.

A milk tea place usually has this oriental vibe. But Sencha Milk Tea Place is different, in a good way. Aside from the store's friendly and approachable crew, its unique interior design generates positive energy which guarantees guests to experience comfort at maximum level.

Sencha Milk Tea Place offers not just a variety of teas; they also serve Takoyaki (Japanese dumpling) and hot and cold coffee. Talking about versatility!

Last weekend, after our tiring but fun shooting at Crocodile Park and ZipCity, Kuya Drew, JuyMark and yours truly went straight to Sencha to have our milk tea fix. Aside from ordering their signature tea, one of their best-sellers, we also tried Bits of Wisdom, Rose Special, Dancing Coffee and Durian Espresso Frappuccino.

Rose Special - Citrus bits with a mild aroma of rose.

Durian Espresso Frappuccino. The best!

Dancing Coffee - it really dances. Bits of Wisdom - blueberry tea!

I highly recommend Durian Espresso Frappuccino and Bits of Wisdom!

And oh, Sencha offers a free wi-fi connection which enables guests to update their tweets instantly, like this one: Hey I'm here at Sencha, u shud try der milk tea. D best in town! *76 characters left*. Now that's awesome!

Chillin' at Sencha Milk Tea Place

Sencha Milk Tea Place is located along Ramon Magsaysay Avenue (Uyanguren), Davao City, in front of Shanghai Restaurant.

And for the price? Surprisingly affordable!

  9. I wanted to try their Durian Espresso Frappuccino but it wasn't available when we were there. Perhaps I should fly to Davao again in 2 months just to try that. I gotta try it. HAHA!
