I am not a professional photographer but I aspire to become one. I started shooting photos back in December 2009 when my mother gave me an early Christmas present - a Sony Cybershot DSC-S930 camera. But last year, I switched to DSLR cameras (Canon EOS 1000D and Canon EOS 1100D) after I used up all possible functions of a point-and-shoot camera.
At first glance, I thought that this tag thing is as easy as 1-2-3. But no, it was really stressful to browse my hard drive, which contained more than 50,000+ photos. Nonetheless, I still had a great time picking some of my best shots. I do hope you enjoy this post.
Thanks Cat for tagging me!

Mount Pinatubo Crater Lake (January 28, 2012)
It was one of the most spontaneous decisions I made this year. From my hometown, Davao City, I traveled all the way to Capas, Tarlac together with 30 travelers from different parts of the country. Climbing Mount Pinatubo wasn't really that easy, but the view was really worth it! I met new people from PTB and they were all awesome.

Trail to Mother Falls (Ditumabo Falls) of San Luis, Aurora (March 16, 2012)
It was a bumpy tricycle ride to Ditumabo Falls of San Luis, Aurora. The road was filled with boulders and sharp gravels - I surmised that the road was once a river. But when we arrived at the jump-off point, the surrounding was surreal. There were colorful butterflies frolicking in the meadow and wild flowers beautifully decorated the surroundings. Parang fairy tale lang naman.

Davao International Airport - Control Tower (April 22, 2012)
Since I was two, I have been passionate with anything related to aviation - from airlines, airports and aircraft models. Aviation was really my first love. I can't get enough of it! But due to some circumstances, I took BS Biology in UP four years ago, thinking that I'll be a successful medical doctor. Right after graduation, I decided not to pursue a medical career because I didn't really like the idea; I was just pressured. My classmates were all passionate of becoming a doctor but me. For more than a year, I have traveled all over Philippines to have more time with myself and to know what my real passions are. Right now, I am slowly reaching my dream of becoming an Air Traffic Controller. Well, as the cliche goes, first love never dies.

Piyesta Davao KTV and Resto Bar (May 6, 2012)
I was so fortunate that I became part of Davao's most sinful trip - the Davao Food Appreciation Tour. Among the restaurants that we have tried, Piyesta Davao and Resto Bar is my all-time favorite. Owned and managed by Gensan-based blogger, Donna Mae Congson, this resto bar offers mouthwatering Filipino dishes. Never miss their Sungka and Dama shots if you love drinking!

Pre-departure area of Clark International Airport - Pampanga (April 13, 2012)
We ALL long for home. Just last April, hours before my flight to Clark, my travel buddy backed-out, leaving me all alone to do this particular trip. But I took it as a challenge. I've never EVER dreamed of solo traveling (yet). I traveled alone all the way from Clark to Dagupan to meet up with Josh and Mean then the day after, I traveled back to Clark to meet up with Brenna and Laken. Despite their company, I still feel lonely and anxious. Then, I miss home. Traveling solo is not really my thing. I was scheduled to leave Clark on April 15 but because of loneliness, I bought a new ticket and went home on April 13.
