My New Travel Buddy: Canon EOS 1000D

All photos that I've posted on this blog were taken from my two trusty digital point-and-shoot cameras: Sony Cybershot S930 and Canon Powershot A480. My first camera was the former and it was an early Christmas gift from my parents back in 2009. On the other hand, the latter was bought by my mom but later gave it to me since she didn't like it.




Just last Sunday, something unexpected happened to me and it was one of the happiest moments of my life.

My uncle, who's a transplant surgeon and has a knack for photography, showed me his first DSLR equipment. And then I was so surprised when he told me, "Ingatan mo yan ha?" (You take care of it, okay?). Aside from acquiring the body of Canon EOS 1000d and the 18-55 mm kit lens, I also acquired these babies:


From left to right: Speedlite 430X II, Canon 55-250 mm f/4.0-5.6, Canon 70-200 mm f/4.0 and a Sigma 105 mm f/2.8 Macro EX DG HSM.

I didn't formally bade good bye to Canon Powershot A480. I'll still use it whenever I have the chance to take videos.

I'm so grateful to Tito Louie for giving me the chance to experiment these photography equipment. Now, I am very excited to use my new weapon!

I can't hardly wait for my future trips!

    siempre inggit ako. wahaha.. sana may magbigay din sakin ng ganyan.. ang gusto ko lang naman ay Nikon D90 or Nikon5100.. lol
