All these experiences, however, entail budget. It takes patience and skill to know how to manage your expenses abroad, especially for the more luxurious destinations in Europe or North America. It might be challenging for some, but knowing how to get the best value for your hard-earned money will make your vacation more enjoyable, with a few more to spare for trinkets and souvenirs you can take home. Travel Destinations for all the Family

Sometimes it can be difficult for the family to decide where they want to go for their next vacation – everyone wants to go somewhere different! If this applies to your family, then it is worth looking around for a little inspiration. Why not consider a few of these destinations? All of them can be reached easily with the help of the United Airlines website.

Why a family vacation?

Never underestimate the importance of the family spending time together. It is a great way for everyone to unwind, have fun and spend quality time together, creating memories for the future. With everybody having such busy lives these days, it can be hard to coordinate a family vacation, so when the opportunity arises you need to take it. The destination you choose will depend upon how long you have for your vacation, and remember to factor in traveling time. Going from the US to Europe can mean a flight of up to ten hours, depending on the destination, and this can be a long time for young children.

Travel Goal: The #30BeforeThirty Project

I have made a travel bucket list a few months ago and one item goes like this: visit thirty countries before turning thirty. I got this idea from Patty Laurel's blog when I was still in college. At first, the idea seemed farfetched due to lack of resources. Back then, I thought traveling was only exclusive for the rich and famous. But since I already have a job that pays really well, and thanks to the occasional promo fares of some airlines, I might give it a try. I am turning 24 this year and I only have six years before finishing this goal. Procrastination at its best! I have only visited two countries so far namely Singapore, and Malaysia.

Well, I guess I have to start planning my grand trip before I turn thirty and grumpy!

Why Explore the World

What kind of world do we live in?

Explore the world! Photo by Lyle Malubay

Young people of the previous generations had always craved for an adventure - to explore the unknown and discover new realms beyond the seemingly endless horizon. And whenever they go back to their respective homes, they were eager to share their experiences, good or bad. As modern day sets in, there are a number of peope who still opt to visit various places but it seemed, were cut from the experience of culture, and from the truest meaning of traveling and exploring. There were many factors that were held up to blame: modern lifestyle, urban living, computers and gadgets, and the Internet. But, modernity shouldn't be solely blamed for it had contributed greatly of informing others about traveling through blogs, websites, and social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. What lacks people these days to discover the world is the drive and passion of experiencing life beyond their comfort zones. Our comfort zones. I guess we have all lived in mediocrity for a long time.

See New York City in One Day

There is one common question that is said to stump New Yorkers more than any others: What should I do in New York City?

In recent years, New York City has set new visitation records with an increase of 52 percent since 2006, reports NYC & Company. Hotels, cultural institutions, restaurants, Broadway and all types of entertainment venues have experienced exponential growth.

There are seemingly an endless amount of things to see and do in the Big Apple, but for visitors who have just one day, there are certain experiences that really should not be missed.

Locals enjoy taking a break from the concrete jungle in Central Park. It provides a scenic oasis with numerous picturesque settings that include weeping willows, cascading falls and lush, grassy banks. This is a unique experience that provides the opportunity for outstanding people-watching and the chance to experience the great outdoors right in the middle of one of the world's biggest cities.
